Safety Hooks & Links

Secure Connections for Chains & Cables

Prevent accidental disconnection with our range of Safety Hooks and Connecting Links. Whether you are extending a chain, securing a load, or creating a safety tether, our hardware is designed with locking mechanisms to ensure your rigging stays connected even under vibration.

Types of Safety Connections

1. Safety Spring Hooks (Carabiners with Screw Nut)

  • Design: Similar to a standard spring hook but features a threaded sleeve (screw nut) that locks the gate shut.
  • Advantage: Provides a double layer of security. The gate cannot be pushed open accidentally while the nut is screwed down.
  • Usage: Safety chains, gym equipment, swing sets, and general rigging.

2. Quick Links (Threaded Chain Links)

  • Design: An oval-shaped link with a threaded sleeve opening.
  • Advantage: The strongest way to join two chains or attach a chain to an eye bolt without cutting or welding.
  • Usage: Permanent or semi-permanent connections for chains and cables.

3. Clevis & Eye Hooks (With Safety Latch)

  • Design: Heavy-duty hooks designed to grab chains (Clevis) or attach to ropes (Eye).
  • Feature: Equipped with a spring-loaded safety latch to keep the sling or ring in the bowl of the hook.
  • Usage: Lifting slings, cargo control, and winch cables.

AISI 316 Stainless Steel Durability

In safety-critical applications, rust is not just an eyesore—it's a risk. Our hooks and links are manufactured from T316 Stainless Steel, ensuring the locking threads remain smooth and the spring mechanisms stay active, even after years of exposure to rain or salt water.

Selection Tip: For overhead lifting, always use Forged Eye Hooks or Clevis Hooks with a rated WLL. Standard Quick Links and Spring Hooks are typically rated for static loads and pulling, not overhead lifting.
